Gavin and his sons Shane and Jason worked tirelessly to create a boat that was superior to the agricultural “tinny” of the time. The success of this mindset saw Lazercraft in all corners of NZ and exported all over the world from Australia, the Pacific Islands, the US and even Russia. Spearheaded today by Gavin’s son Shane, the team at Lazercraft boats works in unison with Southern Boats to create some of NZ’s softest riding and finest finished alloy boats. A desire for innovation still runs strong through the veins of the team with new ideas, innovations and models almost constantly on the go.
